Kim Kardashian admits she married 'too fast' on 'Kourtney & Kim' - New York Post

Two weeks before she filed for a divorce from Nets star Kris Humphries, Kim Kardashian admitted on camera that she made a mistake by rushing to marry the baby-faced basketball player after just eight months together.

"My heart is telling me I did this too fast," Kardashian says in last night's double episode of "Kourtney and Kim Take New York."

The episode shows Kardashian travelling to Dubai with mom Kris Jenner, and taking the opportunity to garner a little motherly advice, revealing to Jenner that newlywed life wasn't as sweet as she had hoped.

Kris Humphries and Kim Kardashian before their wedding, which Kardashian has admitted that she rushed into.

"I feel like this huge weight has been lifted off my shoulders since I’ve been here in Dubai," Kardashian tells her mother. "Being away from my husband … I’m back to myself. I’m enjoying this feeling."

Jenner tells her daughter that feeling unsatisfied so soon into a marriage is not good.

"Your dad and I were obsessed with each other," Kris Jenner explains to her daughter. "I didn’t want him to even go to work. I mean, I was so excited for at least 10 years ... This is not normal, that you don't want to go home to your new husband."

"There’s something in my relationship that I just feel like isn’t right," Kardashian says. "I’m just learning a lot of things about him that I never knew before. Married life just isn’t what I thought it would be like with him."

One incident that led Kardashian to this conclusion was revealed in an earlier episode. After Kardashian vetoed the idea of Humphries hosting an event at a club in Toronto, he went anyway, taking Scott Disick with him. While partying in Toronto, Humphries ignores several texts from his wife while flirting, and pounding shots, with other women. Kardashian then learns on Twitter that her husband has gone to the event behind her back.

"How does it make me feel that your wife needs to find out your in a different country on Twitter?" says Kardashian upon Humphries’ return. "That is so shady of you."

By the end of the episode, Kardashian and Humphries' divorce appears all but inevitable.
